Step into an inspiring story of faith, friendship, and redemption as we travel to Blue Gate Inn’s Music Hall to see A Simple Sanctuary, a stage adaptation of Beverly and David Lewis’ beloved novel.

The play follows Melissa James, a woman whose seemingly perfect New England life unravels when a deadly secret forces her to flee. Seeking refuge, she finds herself in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where she meets Lela Denlinger, a kindhearted Mennonite woman who takes her in. As Mellie struggles with fear, betrayal, and the longing for home, she discovers courage, healing, and the power of prayer within the Amish and Mennonite community. Suspenseful, heartfelt, and faith-filled, this moving production brings a powerful story to life on stage.

Before the show, we’ll enjoy a hearty Amish family-style meal, filled with all the classic favorites that make Amish dining so memorable. Our day also includes a stop at E&S Sales, an Amish bulk food and specialty store well-loved for its unique goods and country treasures.

This trip blends uplifting storytelling with Amish hospitality, making for a day of nourishment for both body and soul.

Activity Level-1-This trip requires minimal physical effort and is suitable for all fitness levels. Activities are leisurely, with short walks or light movement. Ideal for those who prefer a relaxed pace with little to no physical exertion.

Registration & Confirmation

Once online registration is completed, guests will receive a confirmation email. A valid email address is required at the time of booking, as most trip-related communication is sent electronically. For certain overnight trips, select trip materials may also be sent by postal mail.

Office- Assisted Registration

Guests who prefer to have the Spectrum Tours office complete their registration must provide a completed sign-up form, a working email address and cell phone number, and a deposit payment. Banking information will be securely entered for future automatic payments.

Payment Information

Payments are automatically withdrawn using the payment method provided at registration. Guests will receive an email notification 3–4 days prior to each scheduled withdrawal. Guests who prefer to pay by check must ensure payment is received at least 45 days prior to the final payment due date in order to stop automatic withdrawal.

There are no processing fees for payments made by checking account. A 2.99% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.
